About Me

Hello, I'm Ewa, and I make jewellery the way nature makes pearls: slowly, with care, and never quite the same twice.
I'm the person behind Pearl Art Nature, a small independent jewellery studio based in Mansfield, Nottinghamshire.
With over ten years of jewellery-making experience, I've spent a decade learning, experimenting, and falling deeper in love with natural materials.
Every pearl, every stone, and every piece of jewellery you see here has passed through my hands.
My love for jewellery began with a fascination for beautiful natural materials. I’ve always liked things that aren’t perfectly uniform, like the unique shapes of pearls, the colours and textures of natural stones, and the little details that make something special.
When I discovered baroque and Keshi pearls, I completely fell in love with them. Their shapes are organic, unpredictable and beautifully imperfect. No two are ever the same, and that is exactly what I love about them.
For me, making jewellery isn't about creating something perfect or identical to everything else. It's about taking something beautiful from nature and turning it into something you can wear, treasure and enjoy.
I pick out every pearl and stone myself. Sometimes a piece turns out just as I pictured it, and other times I start with one beautiful pearl or stone and let it guide me. I love letting the materials shape the final piece.
Pearl Art Nature is a very small business. I give every piece my full attention from start to finish. I design, hand-make, photograph, package, and send every piece myself.
And honestly, I like it that way.
There is something very special about knowing exactly who made the jewellery you are wearing.
My work is inspired by nature, but also by women who want jewellery with personality. I don't want to create pieces that follow trends. I want to create jewellery that makes you stop for a moment and think, "This feels like me."
You'll find genuine freshwater, Tahitian, Edison, Akoya and Keshi pearls, natural gemstones, sterling silver and quality stainless-steel details throughout my collections. I choose my materials carefully because quality matters to me, and I never use plastic pearls made to look like the real thing.
I'm especially drawn to natural shapes, contrasting textures and unexpected combinations. Sometimes it's a delicate pearl beside a natural stone. Sometimes it's an unusual baroque pearl that becomes the whole focus of the piece.
Every piece is different because nature is different.
Because I care about nature as much as I care about beauty, I package every Pearl Art Nature order in eco-friendly materials, thoughtfully chosen to be as kind to the planet as possible.
That's the heart of Pearl Art Nature.
Jewellery with a story, inspired by nature & beauty.
When I'm not making jewellery, I enjoy the quieter things in life. I spend time with my dogs, get outside, and notice the little details around me, finding inspiration in the beauty that surrounds us.
Building Pearl Art Nature has been a journey of learning, experimenting and discovering what I truly love to create. I'm still learning every day, and I get excited when a piece finally comes together exactly as I imagined.
Every order supports my dream, letting me work with beautiful natural materials, learn new techniques, and create jewellery I hope will be meaningful to others.
So, thank you for being here.
Thank you for choosing handmade.
And thank you for supporting a small independent artist and maker.
I hope that when you find something here that speaks to you, you'll feel a little of the love and care that went into making it.
