What types of pearls do you use?
I carefully select pearls for their natural lustre and distinctive character, including baroque, keshi, and freshwater pearls. What is the difference between baroque and keshi pearls?
Baroque pearls are irregular, non-spherical freshwater or saltwater pearls with a distinctly organic shape — no two are exactly alike. Keshi pearls are very small, flat, and often highly lustrous pearls that form as a byproduct of the culturing process. Both are prized in contemporary jewellery for their natural, sculptural beauty.
Do you use natural gemstones?
Yes — many of my designs combine pearls with natural gemstones such as turquoise, amethyst, labradorite, and rose quartz. All gemstones are selected for their quality, colour, and how they complement the pearls they are paired with.
How do I care for my pearl jewellery?
Pearls are delicate and require gentle care. I recommend putting your jewellery on after applying cosmetics and perfume, wiping it gently with a soft cloth after wearing, and storing it separately in a soft pouch away from heat, chemicals, and direct sunlight. Avoid contact with water, lotions, and hairspray.
Is your jewellery handmade?
Yes — every piece is handcrafted by me, Ewa, in my studio. I design and make each piece individually, which means no two are identical. Small natural variations in the pearls and gemstones are part of what makes each piece unique.
