Forty-eight deep burgundy-red garnet beads, a mix of smaller 6mm rounds and larger 8mm rounds, rich, glossy, and almost translucent in the light, fill half this necklace. Ten white baroque rice pearls with small gold spacer beads run along the other half. At the front, a gold toggle clasp anchors a dual pendant: a small garnet bead and a tiny baroque pearl, from which hangs a dramatically textured 18k gold sun with a spiral centre and wild, spiked rays reaching in every direction.
Bold, warm, and completely unsubtle. In the best possible way.
It sits just below the collarbone, and the sun pendant falls front and centre; it’s designed to be seen. The contrast between the deep red garnet and the luminous white pearl section gives the strand itself something to say, even before the pendant does.
