It starts with pearls, a lot of them. Fifty-nine small baroque pearls, each around 4mm, strung along a full 50 cm strand with four flat coin pearls placed as quiet punctuation. Between them: six red tourmaline beads and two larger green tourmaline beads, deep and slightly rough against the smooth nacre.
At the centre hangs an open-circle sunburst pendant in 18k gold-plated stainless steel. Simple in shape. Striking in context.
In photos, the necklace reads as full and warm. In person, the pearls give it a softness and weight photos can’t quite capture; it moves differently than a chain.
Cream white. Deep red. Forest green. Warm gold. A combination that feels rich without being heavy.
At 50 cm, it falls below the collarbone, long enough to layer, strong enough to wear alone.

Sixty-three pearls are no small thing. Each one is a genuine AA baroque pearl, selected for its lustre and shape. Baroque pearls are irregular by nature; no two are identical, and at 4mm they create a strand with real density and movement. The coin pearls add a different texture: flat and sculptural, while the baroques are rounded and organic.
The red and green tourmaline beads are natural and unpolished just enough to contrast with the pearls. The gold sunburst toggle clasp is 18k gold-plated stainless steel, tarnish-resistant, hypoallergenic, and part of the design rather than an afterthought.
Because I use real natural materials, each pearl's tone and each tourmaline's shade will vary slightly from necklace to necklace. Each one is different. That’s not a limitation; it’s what makes it yours.
