Five materials. Nineteen centimetres. Four round jade beads at 8mm, cool, smooth and green. Five jasper beads at 8mm, cool, matte, blue-grey. Two carnelian beads at 8mm, warm and translucent orange-red. Two 8 mm yellow topaz beads, golden and luminous. Three white baroque pearls at 4mm, the softest note on the bracelet, cream and organic between everything else. The bracelet closes with a gold-filled clasp.
In photos, it reads as richly varied: cool green jade, matte blue-grey jasper, glowing carnelian, golden topaz, and the quiet cream of small baroque pearls, all along a single 19 cm strand. In person, five genuinely different natural materials at the wrist are more interesting than photographs suggest; each bead has its own surface, temperature, and way of catching light.

At 19 cm it’s a slightly more generous fit, comfortable and relaxed on the wrist. The gold-filled clasp adds warmth that ties the strand's golden and amber tones together.

Two 8mm carnelian beads add warmth that shifts the strand's overall tone to a lifelike translucent orange-red; they glow against the cooler stones around them. Two 8mm yellow topaz beads add a different kind of warmth, golden and luminous. Three white baroque pearls at 4mm are small but deliberate, soft, organic and cream, the most delicate element on the bracelet.
The gold-filled clasp is hypoallergenic and more durable than gold-plated. Because I use genuine natural stones and real baroque pearls, each bead's exact tone and surface will vary from bracelet to bracelet. Each one is different. That’s not a limitation; it’s what makes it yours.
