Seventeen large baroque pearls in creamy warm white, round, slightly ribbed, with soft natural lustre and a surface that’s different on every bead, alternate with ten chunky faceted clear quartz rounds in cool, almost translucent icy white. The two materials are a similar size but completely different in character.
The pearls are warm, organic, softly luminous. The quartz is crystalline, angular, cooler in tone. Together, on the wrist, the contrast between them is the whole point.

At 19 cm, it sits comfortably on the wrist, and the combined weight of the pearls and quartz gives it a satisfying presence, not heavy, but there.
