It starts with five irregularly shaped keshi pearls, mixed dark blue and cream, each 20- 25 mm, coreless and made entirely of pure nacre. No two are the same shape or tone. Between them: genuine quartz, lapis lazuli, amethyst and garnet. Four stones, four distinct colours, each with its own quality of light.

Cream and dark blue nacre. Deep lapis. Purple amethyst. Garnet red. A rich, layered combination without being overdone.

At 18 cm, it fits the wrist classically. It’s double-strung on 7-strand stainless steel wire, built to wear well daily and hold its drape.

Five keshi pearls between 20 and 25mm make a serious bracelet.

Keshi pearls form without a nucleus, with pure solid nacre throughout, which gives them a distinct lustre and a different feel than conventional pearls at the wrist. The mix of dark blue and cream creates natural contrast without dye or treatment. The four accompanying stones, quartz, lapis lazuli, amethyst and garnet, are genuine, and each has its own visual weight.

The double-strand construction on professional-grade stainless steel wire gives the bracelet a graceful drape. The 925 sterling silver beads and box clasp are hypoallergenic. Because I use real natural pearls, the exact size, shape and tone of each keshi pearl will vary from bracelet to bracelet. Each one is different. That’s not a limitation; it’s what makes it yours.
